UAB Health System expands SeamlessMD to cardiac, thoracic and gynecology-oncology

Dr. Daniel Chu, UAB Health System’s ERAS Medical Director, was recently awarded a University of Alabama grant of $210,000 for his ongoing ERAS research, which will expand UAB’s partnership with SeamlessMD. Using SeamlessMD, UAB Medicine provides patients with a digital experience through which they can access information about their surgeries via cell phone, tablet or computer – from surgery preparation through the recovery process. UAB first implemented SeamlessMD for Colorectal surgery, and will now expand to the cardiac, thoracic and gynecological oncology.Click here to read the full University of Alabama article.
